On October 23rd, Rev. Martin Eldred baptised Callie at Joy Lutheran Church. It was a beautiful ceremony attended by Callie's Godparents (Kalei, Phil and Renee), both sets of grandparents, Al, the Zmudas (and their 6-day old baby Hazel), the Lawsons, Charlene Brooks, and Wes' Godparents. It meant so much to us to have our closest friends and family there celebrating with us.
Fun fact: The beautiful handmade white lace baptismal gown that Callie wore has been in the Oistad family since 1912 and she is the 27th baby Oistad to be baptised in it. Noah was #26.
Pastor said that Callie won the award for best behaved baby during her baptism. She slept and smiled the whole time and didn't cry once. On the other hand, her big bro Noah was running around the alter during the ceremony, but we are giving him the "he's three" excuse on this one. After the service, Grandma and Grandpa Oistad hosted a delicious bruch at their house to celebrate. It was a great day!
